Integrated circuit

The integrated circuit was invented on September 12th, 1958.
The integrated circuit allowed us to have the computer revolution and digital age. It allowed us to have technology that eventually led up to the invention of the internet and things such as our modern day iphone.
Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce were the 2 inventors of the integrated circuit. IC is a hardware. Disadvantage of IC is it costs a lot to set up production of them. Jack Kilby, Texas Instruments invented IC. IC had a rapid growth because they put a large number of tiny transistors into a small chip - allowing them to be sold faster, smaller, and cheaper. IC is revolutionary is It put all electric circuits are on one chip, making it cheap and easy to make.
