Cobol was designed for business use. It was primarily used in business,finance, and administrative systems for companies and governments. It was made to be easy use and self-documenting and higly readable.
Jack kilby and Robert Noyce were the 2 inventors of the integrated circuit. Cobol is A language designed to work on any manufacturer’s operating system. Cobol was a compiled English-like computer programming language designed for business use, first widespread computer language. Grace hopper made cobol. Cobol is made for business
