ABC

It was built in England in 1943, and the ENIAC, which was inspired by it, was built in the United States in 1945. Short for Atanasoff-Berry Computer, the ABC is considered the first electronic digital computer, and was the first machine to use vacuum tubes (over 300 vacuum tubes). IT has no predecessor. It was built by John V. Atanasoff. A team from Iowa State University rebuilt the ABC in 1997 after it was disassembled. ABC was built by John atanasoff and his partner Clifford E. Berry.
